Monorail “Rumiñahui” will cover a distance of 24.8 kilometers between the Valle de los Chillos, an area of great urban expansion, and Quito, complementing the new metro system.

The project was recently presented in Kuala Lumpur last week by Ecuador’s Deputy Foreign Minister, who hopes that Malaysia might finance it.
